The patient demographic includes 80% orthopedic patients and 20% neurological patients. On average, the therapist will see a varying number of patients daily based on evaluations versus follow-ups. Evaluations are conducted on a 1:1 ratio, while follow-up treatments are typically on a 2:1 ratio, except for high acuity neurological patients who are seen on a 1:1 basis. The maximum number of patients seen in an 8-hour day could reach 16 follow-up treatments. Conversely, the minimum number could be 8, incorporating a mix of neurological patients and evaluations. A fully booked schedule without cancellations or no-shows is assumed for this calculation. The therapist typically conducts a maximum of 3 evaluations daily, although this may vary. Each evaluation and treatment session is allotted one hour. Cancellations could occur as per the policy allowing cancellations during the assignment period. Charting is done using an electronic health record system. No advanced degrees beyond the listed certification are required for this position.
