What You’ll Do:

• Lead a welcoming, safe, and developmentally appropriate preschool classroom that encourages curiosity, confidence, independence, and kindness.
• Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons, small group instruction, arts and crafts, literacy activities, social studies experiences, and hands-on learning opportunities.
• Use differentiated instruction and effective instructional strategies to meet the unique developmental needs, interests, and learning styles of every child.
• Build positive classroom routines and use thoughtful classroom management practices that help children learn, collaborate, and thrive.
• Partner with families through clear parent communication and meaningful parent conferences, sharing progress and celebrating important milestones.
• Observe student growth, support individualized learning needs, and collaborate with colleagues to provide a high-quality child care and preschool experience.

What You’ll Bring:

• You bring a background in early childhood education, elementary education, child development, or a closely related field, along with a genuine love of working with young children.
• You can create age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum activities that balance structured learning, play, movement, creativity, and exploration.
• You are skilled in small group instruction and differentiated instruction, helping children feel supported at their individual learning levels.
• You communicate professionally and warmly with parents, children, and teammates, fostering trusting relationships across the school community.
• You use positive classroom management and maintain a dependable, patient, organized approach in a busy preschool environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with NAEYC-aligned practices, Montessori methods, Responsive Classroom approaches, Common Core State Standards, or individualized education programs is welcomed.
• Experience supporting English for Speakers of Other Languages or working in diverse early learning environments is a valuable asset.
• Bilingual English/Spanish canidates are strongly preferred.
